The TR-1000 Custom Vertical Blast System is a fully-automated conveyor blasting system engineered for efficiency and precision, catering to industries that demand meticulous surface preparation on metal sheets. Process details The TR-1000 streamlines the blasting and finishing process, incorporating several advanced features: Rapid surface preparation: The machines robotic loading and unloading capabilities, significantly reducing handling time. Dual-sided blasting: Equipped with 18 oscillating blast guns, the TR-1000 blasts both sides of the titanium sheet simultaneously, which decreases cycle time and minimizes warping. Efficient loading: Sheets are brought into loading areas on pallets, where a robotic arm separates the top sheet for loading onto the inbound conveyor. Pre-blast cleaning: Prior to blasting, sheets are cleaned with compressed air to ensure optimal surface conditions. Post-blast cleaning: After blasting, sheets are blown off again to remove any stray media before being unloaded by a robot and re-stacked on pallets. Cycle time and throughput The TR-1000 achieves a throughput of approximately 300 linear feet per hour, translating to about 45 parts per hour based on standard part sizes. This level of throughput allows businesses to meet high-demand cycles while maintaining consistency in quality.
